New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - Mike Sellers - 12-03-2006 I want to get the kids new nanos for Christmas. The best price I can find is $130 shipped after using the $20 Google Checkout at Tweeter.com. Does anyone know of a cheaper price? Buy.com is sold out right now. Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - rgG - 12-03-2006 That's the best I could find. PC/Mac Connection has them for $129, but you have to mail-in a $20 rebate, so the tweeter deal is better. Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - Mike Sellers - 12-03-2006 Thanks for checking. I would say "thanks my fellow Alpharettan" but as of Friday that's not true anymore. ![]() Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - DavidS - 12-03-2006 Hey Mike, What happened last Friday? Is John's Creek officially incorporated? Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - Mike Sellers - 12-03-2006 Yep, Johns Creek and Milton are officially cities now as of Friday. It will be interesting to see how things change. Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - rgG - 12-03-2006 Yes, I am now a Miltonite (sp). But my address still says Alpharetta. I guess Mike is a John's Creeker, or something like that. And hey, John's Creek got the "Love Shack," too as of Friday. ![]() Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - Mike Sellers - 12-03-2006 Yeah, I can still use Alpharetta if I want and the mail will get here. My wife wants to do that but I need to get some business cards printed up so i'll probably go with the new address. That new Love Shack in only a couple of miles away but I haven't seen it yet. They interviewed one customer in the paper the other day and he actually gave out his name. Wotta maroon. My guess is, people around here will still go to the one several miles away and this new one will get traffic from further out. Who would actually walk into a place like that knowing a neighbor could drive by and see you? That would be just my luck. ![]() Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - rgG - 12-03-2006 Mike, it sounds like now you could make a new variation on that old joke about the difference between Baptists and Methodists. ![]() Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - tuqqer - 12-03-2006 I just purchased my second 2G Nano (one black, one white) from the Sale store at Apple for $99. I'd keep watching for them. They pop up every few days. Re: New 2 GB nano - cheaper than $130 anywhere? - Mike Sellers - 12-03-2006 How does it look vs. a new one? I thought about going the refurb route but I know these things are so susceptible to scratching that I didn't want to get one that already looks used. |
