Anyone springing for SNL Season 1 this week? - Grateful11 - 12-03-2006
I noticed that Season 1 is being released this week. It's $46 at Circuit City. I'd like to have it
but that's a bit steep. I remember those Saturday nights very well. I used to watch it in Black
& White in my bedroom, Mom & Dad would've never approved.

I would love that set, but I'll wait until they do a bigger box set, like the first ten seasons. I'm glad I waited to buy each season of MASH. They finally put out a complete box set of the full series, and people who were buying each season were pissed. They should have seen it coming though.

Ditto on waiting for the set. They will probably be mucho less expensive in a year from now. I can wait. It's not like it's a limited run or anything.

brofoski, I was one of those people, though I didn't keep anything beyond season 7. I may still wind up getting the full set box as a gift this Christmas, I think.
FWIW, Fox has relented and is now saying they'll be selling the two discs of extras separately. Of course, they'll probably add a third disc, thus pissing off everyone who bought the mega set.
