I'm supposed to get a package on Saturday, and they sent me this e-mail:
A driver might contact you by text message, chat or call for help delivering your order.

Is your address hard to find? Is the item large and might need two people to carry? Just guessing.

This has been on every Amazon shipping notice for the last two months. It's boilerplate. Ignore it.

My place IS hard to find, but they have never called. They just drop the package on my neighbors lawn or something like that. I saw and AMZ guy throwing packages over an 8' fence on my street yesterday. I ain't ordering anything from amz until after xmas.

This has been on every Amazon shipping notice for the last two months. It's boilerplate. Ignore it.
I haven't noticed the notice but boiler plate makes sense.
They use a lot of very casual driver who may have no idea where any given address might be, especially if they're running late and might miss a guaranteed delivery date.

Yes, and Amazon will just give them an impossible amount of packages and they spend all day into the night trying to keep up.
