Sometimes There Are Days Like This - jh - 03-10-2020
Spring approaching, warmer days things to do but sitting there thinking do I really want to do it now. Sometimes you feel like Barney feels.
You know what I think I'll do. Think I will go down to the filling station, get me a bottle of pop, go home take a nap, and go over to Thelma Lou's and watch a little TV.
To which an answer might/should be:
You know what I think I'm gonna' do? I'm gonna' go home, have me a little nap, and then go over to Thelma Lou's and watch a little TV.
For the love of Mike do it! Do it! Just do it! Go take a nap, go to Thelma Lou's for TV, just do it!

I remember the "Church In the Wildwood" scene from when I saw it in the 60's. As a musician, I was knocked out by their arrangement and rendition.

The Andy Griffith Show! Here's something that may be interesting if you already didn't know, Barney is Andy's cousin and that's how he became Andy's deputy. Nepotism!!
I've watched this show on and off for many years and didn't know this until a few weeks ago when I was watching the first season on Netflix. :bomb:

I remember the "Church In the Wildwood" scene from when I saw it in the 60's.
I remember seeing that episode!
I love harmony/harmonizing in singing.
And it shouldn't surprise me, much, but it's really fun for me when stars of a non-musical TV show get a scene written in showing they can sing.
A lot of these TV stars had singing careers on stage or somewhere, and I not knowing this, was/am surprised and impressed every time.
Sort of a salute to anyone can sing. I wish. LOL
Eli Stone and now Zoey's Playlist were/are two of my favorites.
