GONE: non-functioning wireless keyboard - Speedy - 06-19-2020
Gone because I recycled the keyboard.

Model A1314. The row 'a' through 'l' keys do not function plus a couple of other keys. My daughter says it just stopped working. I gave it a several day soaking in water (and a good drying) but no change. The keys are in good shape except for a bit of rust on some from the soaking.

It can, depending on how much corn syrup and sugar were spilled on things. In this case, it neither helped nor hurt.

I've never seen inside of this particular keyboard but why would there be rust, there's actually steel inside?

This reminds me of our systems admin here at work. He will replace an employee's keyboard b/c their "M" key stopped working. But he will keep the old keyboard. B/c why? Someone might need a keyboard that cannot type an "M"?

Nothing wrong with that. I definitely have a keyboard with a left shift that doesn't work sitting around just in case.

Thats different. Still weird. But different. B/c you have another shift key. There's only one "m".

You can use the keyboard viewer to type the m.
