Can you fix a 4K TV to play everything as standard definition to save data? - Dennis S - 07-21-2020 AT&T has a "fixed wireless" internet here that might work for me, but 4K and even hi-def will blow through the data cap. This is why I hook my tv up to a Mac Mini with hdmi. It allows me to set quality settings on most services. I haven’t tried to see if I can lower resolution even further. For Amazon via web browser and their iOS app, you can choose 3 levels of quality. I do not know if s,art tv apps do the same.
