Hey, HEY!--Got a PROMOTION! - anonymouse1 - 12-18-2006 Just got an email from my department head--I got a nice promotion, and a 15% raise! Hey, HEY, HEY!!!! Yeah, baby, it's a new iMac for me! Maybe a MacPro???? Hmmm...... And I'm working at the best place I've ever worked (not the best job, but that place was like working at the Death Star). I'm very gratified, and very grateful. Re: Hey, HEY!--Got a PROMOTION! - Carm - 12-18-2006 Congratulations. Have a Merry Christmas indeed. I'll take a MacBook. ![]() Carm Re: Hey, HEY!--Got a PROMOTION! - timg - 12-18-2006 What kind of a place do you work at that promotes people by email? Re: Hey, HEY!--Got a PROMOTION! - bazookaman - 12-18-2006 better watch it. Its probably the same place that fires you via email. Re: Hey, HEY!--Got a PROMOTION! - Paul F. - 12-18-2006 Congratulations! 15% is a mighty healthy amount! Now, if you put 10% of every paycheck for a year into some modest investments, in 20 years, it'll be enough for a house! But a Mac Pro NOW would be more instantly gratifying ![]() Re: Hey, HEY!--Got a PROMOTION! - sscutchen - 12-18-2006 And a Merry Christmas to you, Mr. Cratchit! heh. Best place. Raise and Promotion. What an awesome combination. Re: Hey, HEY!--Got a PROMOTION! - Racer X - 12-18-2006 [quote Paul F.]Congratulations! 15% is a mighty healthy amount!
