seeking recommendations for return-address labels - Todd's keyboard - 02-14-2021
Later today I will create an image for some custom-made, return-address labels.
The current choice is vistaprintcom. The standard dimensions are 2.67" x o.83". I would prefer a standard size that is just a bit taller.
Any recommendations?

I didn't like Vistaprint's return address labels. They were very thin and low-rez and looked cheap.
Awhile ago, I got some return-labels printed at Staples in color on Avery-type label sheets. They had a self-serve app on a computer at the print-services desk that let me choose from various templates and fonts and worked surprisingly well. These labels were pretty good.
The Staples labels are 2.7" x 0.8" (22 up) and that's plenty big. Are you sure you need taller? I have a thick double-border/frame, 3 lines of text and a decorative element in the middle on mine. If I got rid of the decorative element I could easily fit 4 lines at a large size with plenty of whitespace between the text and the frame.
...I have a HP color laserjet now, so I'll probably print the next batch myself.

I do my own on Avery labels using our Color Laserjet. They look great! Of course, just after I printed what I figured would be a lifetime of return labels (given the fact that I only mail a handful of letters, if that, a month), my wife decided it was time to look for a new house. So I have 500 labels with an address that will no longer be mine in two months!

Maybe a stamp? I ordered a few stamps from Rubber Stamp Champ. Been great! 'course, if I want actual labels, I do them myself with label media. Avery and a zillion other places offer them in standard sizes but non-standard sizes are available, too. I produce them only as necessary. Think maybe a page or two at a time.

if you're gonna run the envelope through the printer to print the Recipient's address, you can also print the return address at the same time.
if you're gonna hand write the Recipient's address, you can also hand write the return address at the same time.
So why do you need return address labels?

I just ordered a stamp and some return-address labels from Vistaprint.
A friend (former tenant) has agreed to handle fulfillment for my micro-business offering a book, DVD and supplies for dice stacking. All of the materials are in the US, and I am not allowed to cross the border from Canada. I need to make the situation as convenient as possible.

I just ordered a stamp and some return-address labels from Vistaprint.
That was our solution umpteen years ago, but I don't think it was from Vistaprint back in the early 1990's. Got a self inking stamp w/ a little Mickey/Minnie on the side of name/address, and used it for bills and other no-need-to-impress stuff. Also got some rolls of labels w/ a palm tree-sunset-beach scene on 'em, and something else from the vendor, too, in order get some special combo discount. Stickum on the labels stopped working after a few years... the labels were literally falling off the roll, so we've been using whatever freebies show up in the mail ever since.
FWIW, Baby Buzz, and his GF/biz partner used a rubber stamp onto Avery labels until their biz grew big enough to use a fulfillment house. Not sure what the fulfillment joint has used the few years to send out their 5" X 7" and 8" X 10" padded envelopes full of their wares. Here's hoping your biz outgrows its "fulfillment-by-former-tenant" status.

I've found a good way to avoid that, unless one wants the labels, is to use a USPS money order.
One can put the Charity name and address on both sides of the MO, or their own name and a non-existent address on the From side.
Just keep the receipt with all correct information filled in, if one claims their contributions at tax time.
