Chrome Dragging Tab to new Window on Second Screen? - C(-)ris - 02-16-2021

Not sure if this is new or not, but I cannot figure out how to grab an open tab in Chrome and then drag it to a second screen without dropping the tab on the original screen first. Lastest Chrome and Big Sur.

Has it always been like this? I use a PC half the time at work and it will do this no problem. Cannot get the Mac to do this.

Works as it should on v 88.0.4324.96 and 10.14 (also works with Brave - a Chrome variant)

are you sure that you're going from one chrome window to another and not a dif browser?

I'm grabbing an open tab in Chrome so that it releases into its own window and then trying to simultaneously drag that new window created onto a second monitor. It will let me move the mouse to the second window but the released tab, now in its own new window, gets stuck on the monitor boundary. I have to let go of the tab and then click on it again to drag it to the second screen.
