I have a feeling that the Republican effort to amend the anti-hate bill with a provision to "not defund police" --- a #whataboutism --- isn't going anywhere, particularly given that the Bill never mentions any sort of law enforcement funding.

Considering his party attempted a coup and armed invasion of the same building just three short months ago, would you reasonably expect any sort of decorum ?

Nadler needs to use his gavel and position as chair a lot more aggressively. That was a pathetic show of non-leadership.

I agree, he is not a strong personality and needs to have one with that crowd.

The other half, it looked like he just wanted to say something, and then thought better of it.
