What is it about the humor in their cartoons that makes them so identifiable? I thought the bear and the Zoom cartoons on the Tips page, from the past year's issues were two of the rare ones. Also, they have a large regular squad of artists, so that helps in recognition. Please note: this cartoon is 21 years old. Re: and then there's this cartoon... - Buzz - 04-22-2021 My aunt (R.I.P.) used to send us appropriate NY'er cartoons several times a year, and occasionally articles she clipped from other periodicals. It seemed the NY'er had/has nearly a cult following. Many of their offerings are nearly timeless, others quite prescient before their time. At least as much thought provoking as they are humorous. == Re: and then there's this cartoon... - DeusxMac - 04-22-2021 Steve G. wrote: :agree: We received a gift subscription 2 years ago, and a thick anthology of cartoons from earlier decades, and the current ones are noticeably lacking the humor and cleverness of previous decades.
