Second Pfizer dose next week. Mrs. cbelt3 gets her second Moderna dose the following week. Only my eldest son hasn't gotten his first dose. The rest of the kids get their second doses in the next few weeks as well.

I guess we will look forward to boosters every six months or so. That's fine. I don't want to have to deal with a virus like that again.

Got the 2nd dose of Pfizer yesterday; 13 more days before considered fully vaccinated - which happens to land on Cinco De Mayo...hmmm - I'd better start planning ahead on how to mark the occasion...

For those waiting, you have my heart-felt wishes. If it's because you cannot take vaccines, that's why those that can should get the shot.

If it's because you are concerned about the science, you can DM me if you do not want to post your concerns here.

If it's because of the politics, I feel sorry we have leaders who are putting your health at risk. The development of vaccines was a bi-partisan effort, and the deployment of such an amazing health tool should be above politics.

As I write this, we are at 90% in the process or completed so the forum has herd immunity. That means 90% of us will do our civic duty to protect the 10% who don’t care about their fellow human beings. I’m good with that.
