Helpful hint for getting your vax quicker for the next pandemic - hal - 04-22-2021
I posted almost a month ago that I was invited by Kaiser to make an appt for my first shot even though I was under 60 and the system wasn't inviting under 60yos at that time.
The state sent me an invite on monday to take my first shot.
I was puzzled why Kaiser called on my so soon, but I just fig'd it out.
Back when the fires were filling california with smoke, I had a couple of bad days and have an ancient history of childhood asthma. Haven't had a problem for 30 years, but I know the potential is there, so the dr that I dealt with offered me a script for an albuterol inhaler just to be safe.
NO DOUBT Kaiser just searched their database for everyone that was prescribed such drugs in the last year and upped their vax status.
That HAS to be it.

Carry the Rx med with you to confirm your eligibility.

You probably have a preexisting condition flag for Asthma on your record. That was a qualifier for the vaccine.

We need to finish with this pandemic before I will worry about the next...
