Somewhere it said Apple is handling the phone tech support, not Cingular, so I might guess yes. Or no.

A better question is to make sure your insurance company will cover the loss when it gets stolen. Sad

Are you kidding? OF COURSE apple will increase your out the door cost - any time. Have you ever had to ask about this in the past?

well, since it could be argued that it is a wireless computer, most insurance companies will cover computer equipment under a blanket $1,000 limit.

and I have an AT&T gold card, that has, among other things, a $50 replacement policy for lost cellphones.
