Brief moon-naming rant - SteveG - 07-22-2021

Once again, the newsies have decided to follow the dubious lead of the always-doubtful Farmer's Almanac and are referring to Friday's full moon as the 'Buck Moon'.
(peaking at 10:37pm Eastern...it might be red-tinged from smoke where you are)

The July full moon has also been called the salmon moon, thunder moon, hay moon, feather molting moon, berry moon and mead moon.

I prefer to call it the 'MRF Moon'...sounds better with more commercial potential.

how about a full moon and call it good.
