My old water oak has a rusty growing moist spot a few inches up from the ground. Would look it up on Google but haven’t gotten the. Proper words to bring up an answer. I ant to know if the aging tree like me,i has a fading future.

We (Central FL) lost a LOT of water oaks during the hurricanes of '04. They rot from the inside out. One good gust of wind, and down they came.
