Any tree bark mavens here? - samintx - 07-24-2021 My old water oak has a rusty growing moist spot a few inches up from the ground. Would look it up on Google but haven’t gotten the. Proper words to bring up an answer. I ant to know if the aging tree like me,i has a fading future. There is one under Root Rot pretty far down that looks like what you describe.
