DeathSantis just issued an executive order forbidding mask requirements in schools.
Kids can't vote and teachers are liberals, so who cares about either group.

Disney just announced that ALL "salaried and non-union hourly employees in the U.S. working at any of our sites be fully vaccinated".

A week ago, Stitt (R, OK) did the no-mask thing also. A look on the oklahoma.gov website today (regarding Covid) says that they follow the CDC Guidelines. Where’s the popcorn? :popcorn:

Just like making people wear a mask, unfortunately this is going to fall on business and employers to get people to take the vaccine.
If you can’t go in businesses without a vaccine, or go to work without a vaccine, or get on a plane without a vaccine, or at least a mask, then maybe that will get us further down the road.
If the FDA will get on with giving regular approval to the vaccines, then schools should be able to require them for kids, as soon as they become eligible, just like the MMR and polio and things have been.
It is a shame that some people have to be forced to do the right thing, but it is what it is.

Honestly, what is the justification? I find it usually keeps me from getting too upset at least hearing some sort of justification. I'm not saying I have to agree, but some kind of reasonable explanation. I'm at a loss though with this one. "Because people will vote for me" doesn't get it.

But people WILL vote for him and he knows it.
Florida is so close to a 50-50 split between liberals and conservatives — but leaning conservative —- that it’s a cynical if effective method of garnering enough support to get elected.
