“Judge” Napolitano out at Fox News for sexual harassment - pdq - 08-04-2021 …but wait, there’s more. First of all, “Judge” Napolitano was closer to Judge Judy than anything. He was appointed by a Republican governor to the New Jersey Superior bench at 37, the youngest person ever to be so appointed to the NJ judiciary. He apparently lost interest in this after seven or eight years in 1995 (26 years ago!) in order to move toward (more lucrative) private practice, and TV. He was the Judge Judy for the first season of Fox’s syndicated court show Power of Attorney (2000–02), in which people brought small-claims disputes to a televised courtroom (sound familiar?). He often sat in for Glenn Beck on the latter’s show, and frequently appeared on Fox News. In 2017, he publicly asserted that Obama had had Trump wiretapped, a claim which immediately fell apart, leading to his temporary suspension from Fox News. With all of this…umm…’legal” experience, he was said to have asked Trump for a Supreme Court appointment. Trump said he turned him down, and he thus became a “never Trumper”. Staunch Catholic, thinks abortion should be banned, and so on. Anyway, to get to the point: Fox News has "parted ways" with legal analyst Andrew Napolitano after a producer at the network accused him of sexual harassment. Okay. Not that unusual for Fox News, right? [Fox Business News] producer John Fawcett alleged in a discrimination lawsuit that Napolitano had stroked his arm and made a sexually suggestive comment while they were sharing an elevator. It should be noted that the randy (no-longer-)young “Judge” has denied all of the accusations and intends (at this point) to fight this baseless lawsuit. So stay tuned! Re: “Judge” Napolitano out at Fox News for sexual harassment - GGD - 08-04-2021 pdq wrote: He should contact Rudy for help, Rudy needs the work and has LOTS of experience with baseless lawsuit.. Re: “Judge” Napolitano out at Fox News for sexual harassment - Speedy - 08-04-2021 Randy Andy got the boot because he harassed men. Re: “Judge” Napolitano out at Fox News for sexual harassment - pdq - 08-04-2021 As it turns out, this is not the first suit filed against Napolitano. Pretty lurid stuff, so I’ll put it in a spoiler. Suffice to say that, if true, it ought to get him disbarred, if not imprisoned.
Corbishley first met Napolitano as a defendant in his own courtroom. The then-20-year-old was facing three counts of arson, according to NJ.com, and had hired defense attorney Robert Hollis who helped transfer his case to Napolitano’s court. Hollis allegedly told Corbishley that Napolitano was his friend and that the judge would “take care of your case.” The lawsuit states that Hollis… told Corbishley to meet Napolitano at a private residence in New Jersey and to bring a snow shovel. When he arrived, the judge allegedly told him to shovel the driveway, which Corbishley claims was already shoveled. Later, Napolitano allegedly appeared outside in a long trench coat and told Corbishley, “You know… you could be going away for a long time.” According to the suit, Corbishley alleges Napolitano then forced him to perform oral sex and told him to “be a good boy.” Hollis later told him to plead guilty to all three charges, for which Napolitano gave him a “remarkably lenient sentence” of five years probation and 150 hours of community service. According to Business Insider, Corbishley's co-defendant was sentenced to several years in prison for the same charges.
Again, this was alleged to have occurred while the plaintiff was a defendant before hizzoner Napolitano. Yeesh. There’s even more at the link above, BTW; after the above suit was announced, another man (not the Fox News producer) came forward with a suit this Monday. More coercion, again involving his role as judge, even creepier behavior (involving…umm…playing “Daddy”). Eww. What is it with closeted Conservatives? Re: “Judge” Napolitano out at Fox News for sexual harassment - NewtonMP2100 - 08-04-2021 ......disgusting.... Re: “Judge” Napolitano out at Fox News for sexual harassment - Speedy - 08-04-2021 He was a near perfect fit for Fauxy Blonde News. His only flaw was he wasn’t blonde. pdq wrote: Re: “Judge” Napolitano out at Fox News for sexual harassment - NewtonMP2100 - 08-04-2021 ....wish Judge Dredd......would execute him..... |
