Still workin' on that intra-family old iMac swapathon. Nephew's shotgun wedding in TX coming up this weekend, then in-law's big family reunion in OK the following weekend. After that, BIL/SIL's kid + her hubby and their two kids will be in S.D. (from AZ) until +/- 4th of July, so after everything shakes out, either low spec 21.5" i3 iMac, or more ancient, but larger 24" Alu C2D iMac will be end result if that works fer ya.....

I've seen original imacs beginning to sell on ebay. SOme of them are collectable.

Dennis, I set them up as digital picture frames. They are far nicer than anything that is on the market for this purpose.
The large screen is great especially for those of us whose eyes are not so young anymore!

I have a few of the 2008 iMacs, but they're not the size you're looking for. Gorgeous screens nonetheless.

I’ve thought about using an old iMac for image display. Unfortunately, our elderly ones have died.
