What in the world is this piece called? Maytag schematic is less than helpful.

Thats the area where the float on the inside of the dishwasher knows that it is filled and to "do Something".... ala shut off water, etc...

Probably just follow the first one, Unclick the float, and clean inside of dishwasher... and then reattach as seen in the video. Pretty straight forward. and if you already have a picture of that area, you 1/2 way done. And my guess is that by the time you read this, you will have fixed it.

It is not a/the water pump - no hoses attached. With all of the holes, it looks like some sort of vent or breather -maybe air intake for the drying cycle. That could be condensation dripping.

....part of growing old means you will start to leak...a lot.....try depends.....you can't put it off much longer.....
