Thanks, just re-watched it. Forgot that Meg Ryan was in it, before she became well known from "When Harry Met Sally" in 1989. She wasn't even listed in the main credits.

I saw the great, new Top Gun Maverick
It's been getting great reviews all over the place, including Cannes.
I want to see Maverick in theater, but I'll wait until after the holiday, and when the seating is pretty low.
Top Gun on Blu-Ray is in my DVD and digital library, so I'm good there.
I've watched it twice in the last month.

Thanks for the heads up. We watched it last night before getting any chance to see the new one.
The theaters are too crowded right now for us. That left the drive-in option at 9:30pm or the cinema at 9:55. My other half declined.
Looks like were waiting for streaming...

When I went with a friend yesterday we went to an 11:45 matinee. There were probably less than 10 people in the theater, so maybe go at an early showing, if that's an option for you.

I always went to the first show because even during the summer, all the kids are still asleep it seems, and the first few shows had matinee pricing.
My theater of choice often suspends matinee pricing, but keeps the times, on big movies.
I plan to see this on the big screen, then again on IMAX.
