I was paying $125/month for internet and basic TV. Today's statement was for $95.

I'm not sure if this is a current discount or if an even bigger discount is coming.

that has got to be it. every time I go to the Scumcast site, they have banners about the discount, and cellular service discount as well, because they cellular/wireless plans.
