In April, Netflix reported its first subscriber loss in over a decade, and it said people sharing the passwords to their accounts was in part responsible.

We just subscribed a few days ago and one of the things we had to agree to was to not share our account.

2FA every time subscriber logs on. Auto log off every morning at 6AM.
It will either save Netflix or kill it.

I am not dealing with 2FA every day - goodbye Netflix if that occurs. I use Prime more in any way

So Netflix wants to crackdown on TOS violators costing it revenue.

Whodda thunk it.

Apple's 2FA has been working fine for me, after a rough start sometime back.

It could get old if it had to be done daily, and that will never happen, for that reason alone.

It's too late for them to require a set top box, and any code, hardware or software, can eventually be broken anyway.

Still, if they try hard enough, they should be able to come up with something that's not a hardship on the customer.

Well, aside from the customer sharing their password.

I get the concerns of abuse, but I also upgraded to more streams to support my immediate family who is often spread across the country at different colleges. If restricted, I won't need the extra premium streams, and I will probably only pay for 3-4 months instead of 12. Will see how it works out.
