Abbott Elementary Scores Early Renewal for Season 3 at ABC
.....Abbott Elementary‘s very good week just got even better: The ABC comedy has been renewed for Season 3, midway through its current sophomore run.
Thus far this season, Abbott Elementary in its new Wednesday time slot is averaging 3.9 million total viewers and a 0.8 demo rating (with Live+7 playback folded in), up a tick in audience while rock steady in the demo versus its hit freshman run.
The pickup comes less than 24 hours after Abbott Elementary took home three Golden Globes at Tuesday night’s ceremony, including trophies for Quinta Brunson (Lead Actress in a Musical or Comedy), Tyler James Williams (Supporting Actor in a Musical, Comedy or Drama) and Best Musical/Comedy Series. Additionally, the show notched two SAG Award nominations on Wednesday, for Brunson and the show’s ensemble......

All American Renewed for Season 6 Amid CW Programming Upheaval
.....Fans of All American can rest easy: The football drama has secured a Season 6 renewal at The CW, to air during the 2023-24 broadcast season.
Thus far this TV season, All American is averaging 870,000 total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating (including Live+7 playback), down 18 and 25 percent from its Season 4 tallies. Among all CW shows that premiered last fall, it ranks No. 1 in the demo and fourth in total audience.......

grown-ish Renewed for Season 6
.....Andre Johnson Jr. is extending his stay at Cal U with a sixth-season renewal of Freeform’s grown-ish,
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Freeform has also released a trailer for the second half of grown-ish‘s fifth season, premiering Wednesday, Jan. 18 (10:30/9:30c).
So, what’s on tap for 5B? According to the trailer, Junior is (Marcus Scribner) facing everything from money problems to a troubling in-the-pants discovery that he really hopes is just razor burn. He also briefly considers dropping his nickname, but he quickly concludes that the ish-verse can only handle one “Dre” at a time.......

Wheel and Jeopardy! Renewed
......Two syndicated game show mainstays will be staying on the airwaves: Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! have been renewed for five years, taking both shows through the 2027-2028 season on ABC stations
The renewals will bring Wheel of Fortune to Season 45, while Jeopardy! will reach Season 44......

.....ABC’s Fun & Games lineup isn’t going anywhere. On Wednesday, the network handed renewals to Celebrity Family Feud, Press Your Luck and Claim to Fame.
Celebrity Family Feud, the veteran of the pack, will return for Season 9 with host Steve Harvey; Press Your Luck, entering Season 5, will continue with host Elizabeth Banks; and Claim to Fame, which launched last summer with hosts Kevin and Frankie Jonas, will be back for Season 2.....

......AMC+ has cancelled the animated series Pantheon, which featured the voices of Daniel Dae Kim, Paul Dano and Taylor Schilling, after one season, despite previously giving it a two-season order and the show having completed production on Season 2......
.........AMC is canceling.........all these shows they greenlit........just to save money...........?!
