SunRocket users - chat tonight with CTO - DavidS - 02-06-2007 I just received an email about this. I'm curious if they are going to introduce any new technologies for their VoIP. I've had it for almost a year and have been pretty happy. The one major issue (Call Waiting Caller ID) ended up being related to our phones, not SunRocket. What: A chat on SunRocket Forum with SunRocket CTO Mark Fedor. After the 1st 5 months, the service has steadily declined. When they do get back to me from CS, they blame my ISP. While I'm no fan of optonline, they have done the right thing as far as service etc, and from all tests that I can do, seem to be holding up their end of the deal. SR is pi$$ing me off. We got the 24 months for $199 special. Less than $9 per month with unlimited long distance. Re: SunRocket users - chat tonight with CTO - Maddog - 02-06-2007 I have had lots of difficulty with dropped service. Every week or two it will be down for a day. They sent me a cryptic and quite involved "solution" that involved lots of mysterious networking lingo and modem tweaking. For now, I just unplug and reset every cable modem, gizmo box and wireless router every time it goes out until I get the green light again on the gizmo box. It probably has something to do with my setup, but everything works great except for the outages with the VOiP.
