While out and about on Wednesday, I saw a older, white Chevy Volt with a solar panel on the roof.
At a glance it was similar to carrying a 4x8' sheet of plywood or drywall, but it was black with aluminum trim.
Huh?!
It was a little longer and and about the width of the roof, with cables going into the cabin.
I couldn't find a pic of the configuration, but 6:01 and 7:11 of the video shows the array.

That's a newer Volt than the one I saw.
The video is 9:33 long and I've yet to watch it to see what it provides in charging minutes/mile.
I see there are more subtle options, but I don't know if any are factory.
My first guess is they're not.
