Frankfurt, Germany Recommendations? - Mac-A-Matic - 02-06-2007

I'm going to be in Frankfurt this Sunday and was hoping someone here might know what I should do with my day and any hotel I should stay in overnight until Monday.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

See if you can score at ticket at the Tiger Palace.

Pricey, and good. The Tiger Palace helped bring back the variety arts in Germany.

According to the web site Kris Kremo is currently performing. IMHO, Kris Kremo is the most entertaining juggler I have ever seen. (and I've seen a quite few)

I stayed in Radisson a few times and it was OK. a little bit expensive, especially now with the exchange rate Sad good service though.

Basic, generic overnight - no culture and near nothing (but a good breakfast is included) - Holiday Inn Express. Just south of the airport, book online in advance for the best rate.

Frankfurt doesn't have the charm of most German cities. It is very modern and business oriented.

If you are at all interested in mechanical watches, take a look at some of the local offerings. There are some fine watches coming out of Germany nowadays. Have fun!
