Tonight, we will introduce you to the couple that was the target of that stalking. They loved eBay so much they started a publication to help people who sell stuff on the auction site, and then, found themselves the focus of a terror campaign. That's likely irrelevant in this civil suit and others like it. First, most companies don't want to give away pocket lint. Occasionally, maybe a hint of lint, for the 'Go away son, ya bother me!' crowd. Second, their lawyer(s) has/have already made them aware they won't punish eBay; they're after compensation. And eBay will fight it. From experience in a different corporate field, prison time is the real game changer. Policies change really, really fast when someone is sent to prison. Agreed. Government at some level, needs to step in (!) and send corporate criminals to jail. AND provide compensation.
