Is it necessary to remove the 100 screws on the inner panel once the plastic back cover is removed?

If I recall correctly, I just pulled the keycaps on my A1016 wireless white keyboard (clear plastic base) and agitated them in a container of detergent water. With the keycaps off, I was able to vacuum and otherwise manually clean the keyboard's white keyswitch surround.
