To build on pRICE's post: which day is the new Friday (or new Monday)? - Zoidberg - 05-15-2023

Building on pRICE cUBE's post about going to a 4 day workweek; if you had the choice, which day would be the new off day?

I said Friday, though Monday is a close second. Relaxing on a Sunday night knowing there's one more day of weekend is a great feeling--but maybe it should be kept special!

Friday. But moving forward with that knowledge leads to the later hours of Thursday becoming a new start to the weekend just they had been so enjoyed on Fridays.

Put it on a Friday and then you will get 4-day weekends whenever there is a Monday holiday, at Thanksgiving you get Thurs-Sunday, and whenever a holiday falls on Friday, you can get either Thursday or Monday as makeup days.

Just move Saturday to Friday then Saturday become Sunday and you can enjoy Saturday as a Sunday with no work on the Sunday which is now Monday.

Totally read that reply in Tim Conway's voice, as in him from any movie with Don Knotts (The Apple Dumpling Gang, Private Eyes, The Prize Fighter...)

I'll have to run that by the church deacons.

In my workgroup, three of us have four day weeks.
I do MTWTh, off on Friday
Another does TWThF, off on Mondays
Another does MTThF, off on Weds
