If I was a Tesla owner, I'd be peeved.

You shouldn't be. Tesla is competent enough to know to build a sufficient number of chargers to keep up with demand.

There's a supercharger a few blocks from me that's so packed that cars are parked near it waiting on their turn. There are a number of non supercharger chargers, that Teslas use too. I haven't seen any that weren't packed in the Bay or L.A.

The Lowes by my L.A. house, across the street from the charger, is difficult to park at because its filled with Space X cars even though they built a huge parking structure. I wonder what would happen if I parked in one of those spots? Why would Lowes give up so much parking?

The vast majority of chargers (both Tesla and others) aren’t usually packed. Is there no land where you live for additional chargers?

In the past gas stations often bought up corner commercial property. That means there will be a lot of those stations available once they stop selling fossil fuels to be converted to EV filling stations.

In the Bay and in L.A. there's unlimited space for them. I shot this video of a supercharger in Fremont (just north of San Jose). There were probably 25 to 30 waiting for their turn. This was a couple of years ago.

Around here a lot of those former gas station locations already have been converted to other uses decades ago.

Is this typical of Tesla charging stations where you live and California in general? Are they all full, all or most of the time?

Traveling around California, you really see how MANY Tesla's (and other EV's, but the Tesla's are the most visible) there are here. And yes, the sales have outstripped the SuperChargers.
As little as a year ago, our local SuperCharger (in front of a local Mall, not far from my house... I pass it many afternoons) was between 1/2 and 3/4 full on a busy afternoon. Now I haven't seen it less than FULL the last few times I've driven by.

I hope Tesla DOES kick into high gear building and expanding SuperChargers... AND buying up old gas stations and old fast food restaurants next to the road to build new dual use facilities (quick snack and charge? Coffee and charge?).
