Endust Anti-Static wipes: good for monitors? - Psurfer - 02-17-2007

Just got some Endust for Electronics Anti-Static Wipes ("New Bigger Wipe") on closeout at the grocery store, for next to nothing. Contains isopropyl alcohol. The label touts cleaning monitor screens and non-glare laptop screens- has anyone used these for that purpose? Do as good a job as
?

I have used on my TVs and monitors (computers)...as long as it is dry kind and not liquid. Someone will say it is a no no I'm sure but I have never had any problems.

I also have an anti-stat computer cloth that does the same thing. I don't see any diff except the price.

I have a 4 oz. bottle of Endust for Electronics purchased in 2000.
Spray on the LCD "Wipes" that have dried out.
No ingredients listed, just : oil-free- wax-free, ammonia - free, for non-glare and laptop screens

anti-static cleaning and dusting spray.

6 years of use, no complaints.
All my screens look like new.

FWIW, and based on info on this thread from the AVS forum http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=778362&page=1&pp=30 which was mentioned at that chubby billfold site, I picked up a quart of GE Lexan cleaner for $3 at Home Depot (not all Home Depots carry it). Evidently it's been put to the test by someone who has a sufficient number of monitors on which to experiment, and it passed with flying colors.

Wurm-
A quart ?
Based on how long this 4 oz pump bottle has lasted a quart would last me about 100 years. :-)

Cost per fluid ounce you got a much better deal.
