Nat Geo JFK Television Program - chopper - 11-09-2023

Well done.

Such a heavy heavy day. Poor Mrs Kennedy.

Dallas PD were shown to be rank amateurs and near Shriner level cops.

They had Oswald for over 24 hours and he was interviewed numerous times. Was any of it recorded by the police? No. Why? They didn't have tape recorders. Those clowns really stood there afterward and said that.

The real question is why has the Warren report never been fully released. Obviously, there's information that they don't want the public to see.

Paramount has a program interviewing the doctors who treated him that day. Sounds interesting although my skepticism went up as the teaser talks about them seeing a front entry wound. I really don't need more conspiracy stuff sixty plus years removed.

Doesn't matter in the end, I don't subscribe to Paramount.

My understanding is that the members of the Warren never even saw JFK's autopsy photos. When Ford was president he said he had never seen them.

It was a continuation of the Dallas police clown show.

Releasing everything might stop the conspiracy theories or may prove that some of them may be accurate. There's a reason that fewer people trust or believe our government anymore.

Agreed. It's time to release the Kennedy files... weren't they supposed to come out something like 10 years ago and then the gov't moved to keep them secret for another 50 years?

Kinda surprised a certain former President who can't keep his mouth shut about ANYTHING didn't leak this... other than that it would involve being interested in anyone but himself, and is likely oblivious to the enduring interest of this subject.

As an aside to this topic:
I was dumbfounded when visiting the Henry Ford Museum to find out that the car in which he was riding when shot remained in use through the 1970s. If you are ever in Dearborn, MI, check it out:

Plus, he may have thought he might have to actually read the report before releasing it. And that wasn't about to happen.

Re: Nat Geo JFK Television Program - N-OS X-tasy! - 11-09-2023

I watched the first episode of this last night. While watching, I idly wondered why the miniseries was being broadcast and realized we're just a few weeks out from the 60th anniversary of Kennedy's murder.

I read Bugliosi's Four Days in November a few years back. A good read.

Re: Nat Geo JFK Television Program - $tevie - 11-09-2023

I'm inclined to think "they" don't want us to see the full report because it is full of mistakes on the part of every law enforcement agency involved. We aren't meant to see what incredible ineptitude was endemic to the event. Not because they are hiding a second shooter or some such thing. Honestly, would anybody even give a damn if there turns out to be a second shooter? Aside from the Told You So enjoyment, it would change nothing.
