Allen Weisselberg headed back to jail for perjury - pdq - 04-10-2024

CNBC:

Former Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg on Wednesday was sentenced to five months in jail for lying under oath during the civil business fraud trial of Donald Trump.

That sentence would put Weisselberg behind bars for the second time in two years in connection with his work for Trump’s company. He spent three months in jail on Rikers Island last year after pleading guilty to helping orchestrate a tax fraud scheme at the business.

Only the best most-willing-to-lie-for-me people.

I can't understand being willing to go to jail twice for Trump. Especially at his age. I may be perilously close to needing a tinfoil hat, but I keep wondering if there isn't some larger aspect in play. For example, crimes so big that he'd rather go to jail than have them come out. Or, being blackmailed by Trump over those hypothetical larger crimes. Or, being threatened if he talks. Or so forth and so on.

That is Mister Bone Spur, thank you very much.

Mr Bone Spur - Only brags about having money and will never pay a "contractor".
Mr Bone Saw - Actually has money and seems to pay "contractors" that perform what he desires.

Five months. - RAMd®d - 04-11-2024

He only got five months.

Unless it's in really poor health, he can to that easy.

Since when have any of the P45* Crime Family got anywhere near the maximum.

Not nearly enough, for me.

I'm amazed they are actually putting people in jail - if he hadn't perjured himself and 'only' swindled money, he would just be paying a fine.

Not only is he going to "jail," he's going to Rikers. HFS.
