Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros… - cbelt3 - 12-19-2024 I finally did it and grew a beard, after losing my first beard 45 years ago to a flaming shot of rum. And… Mrs. Cbelt3 seems to like it this time. I’m not trying for an Amish Elder beard, just a van Dyke model. I know how to shave around it, but beard balm and oil and whatnot is a mystery to me ? Can any hirsute MRFers give advice ? Re: Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros… - Speedy - 12-19-2024 Don’t add anything. Re: Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros… - AllGold - 12-19-2024 Hair (beard) care products are not part of my beardedness. Re: Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros… - Tiangou - 12-19-2024 My super-ultra-secret routine: Shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Brush it out after the shower. Re: Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros… - Michael - 12-19-2024 I do nothing. Re: Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros… - wurm - 12-19-2024 Interesting timing. I just finished one of my twice a week shaves around my van Dyke. I understand everyone's beard type is different, but several years ago thanks to this very forum I discovered ShaveSecret and haven't looked back. Four drops per shave, about $4 for a little bottle (at Walmart), and I have no complaints. P.S. Thanks for knowing that having a beard doesn't mean simply not shaving at all. Re: Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros… - chopper - 12-19-2024 "Van Dyke" It's been 30 years or more since I heard my grandma use that term. |
