can i print wirelessly to my canon IP6000 with this doohickey? http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wireless/wireless-accessories/network-usb-20-print-server/
Ideally i'd like all the computers on my network to have access to the printer. But there is a mention in the datasheet about making sure your printer has "drivers that support network printing".

I'd guess yes. I have a Canon i560 (precursor to the IP line) and I print wireless with AP. The price of that Buff thing looks to be around $50; for another $40 to 50 or so you can get a refurb AP from Apple and enjoy not just printing but surfing wirelessly and with no compatibility worries. If your other computers have wireless, I'd throw these into the mix as well:

Is the printer already hooked up to a desktop Mac? If so just turn on Printer Sharing. All the computers, wired and wireless, will have access to the Canon, no extra equipment needed.

printer sharing huh? Never thought of that. Yes, it connected via USB to my G5. So if I enable printer sharing on the G5, all the computers will be able to print to the printer? Sounds good.

Do all the computers have printer drivers for the Canon iP6000?

I'd pick one up at COMPUSA if if weren't for the store's mail-in rebates. I am still waiting on a $30 one for almost a year now.
