Interesting. Thanks for posting.

Of course, he does a stellar, clever job here as usual.

The only issue I have with these types of reviews is the lack of acknowledgement that most people buy these phones via their carriers. This phone for example is Free on T-Mobile (16 Pro too), if you trade in your old phone and stick with them for the duration of "credits" it costs you nothing.

They all talk about the price, when it's not really an issue for most people. The painful part is paying the tax.

I haven't had a phone through a carrier deal for many years and don't ever plan to. I'd much rather pay a much lower price for the service and get the phone separately (usually used and an older model).

While I understand that people buy through their carrier, I still can’t believe that people feel they’re somehow getting a good deal.

That's cuz you guys are smart. I'm talking about the average person. All they care about is getting the phone. Plus, T-Mobile gives you Netflix, Max and AppleTV too to keep you hooked.

This phone for example is Free on T-Mobile (16 Pro too),

Then get the 16 Pro.

Tell them that. Most people won't know the difference. They don't people holding out for the iPhone 17.

Again, you're smart. They get what they're shown.

I guess that depends on how much you pay. Some quick math:
Phone Price- $600
Service/m - $15
x36 Months - $540
Total - - $1,140

Phone Price- $0
Service/m - $32
x36 Months - $1152
Total - - $1,152

Losing $12 dollars over 3 years. Highway robbery I tells ya!

Great, but what provider gives you $15/month unlimited service and a free (albeit financed) iPhone 16?
