Looking for a heavy magsafe base - Acer - 03-20-2025
For the bed stand. I don't want it to be sticky, because the bed stand has a nice wood finish. I want it to stay put when I lift the phone with one hand. Anyone have a lead? Amazon search was giving me pages of stuff that wasn't what I had in mind. I'd prefer flat.

Thanks. Kinda pricey. I’d be content with a base that accepts the puck on a wire type of MagSafe, rather than MagSafe built in.

Thinking about the cheap plastic travel charger we have, you may not need something that's "weighted" but just has a raised charging surface and a base that's wider than the charging surface (and maybe ideally a little wider than the phone). This allows you to get your fingers under the phone when lifting it off the charger and use your fingers to hold the charging base down while lifting the phone off, allowing for one handed removal.

You might want to try searching on a site like Etsy. This person in CA makes them to order. Weighs 1.75lbs. $20-30 depending on options.

I have this one (Anker Cube) and am very happy with it. It has some weight to it. I charge my Ultra watch, iPhone Pro Max, and AirPods Pro with it and use Nightstand mode with the iPhone at night. If you have Costco, you can get these for around $79.

Hmm. Thanks. I'm not exciting about the pricing to be honest for something that sounds so simple to me. Maybe I'll just glue a MagSafe puck to a brick.

You can glue it to a 5lb dumbbell weight for a lower profile than a brick.
