Tech writers have a sense of humor! - BigGuynRusty - 03-12-2007

From Apple Tech Notes, article number 301920.:

"Mac OS X 10.4: Stay away from the SyncServices folder
As if it were a swarm of bees,"

Oh I don't know about that. Reminds me of the Wang VS45 I did backups for in an office elsewhere on campus. They had it shutdown improperly due to a lightning strike nearby that killed power to their building. Status that showed up on the LED display when they tried to boot it back up:

DE
AD

Manual called for them to call Field Service, they will attempt to recover your machine or something to that effect.

My college Organic Chemistry book, when describing chiral molecules (which are molecules that are mirror images) made the point that even a symetrical molecule technically had a chiral partner...

"because everything, except of cource a vampire, has a mirror image."

My college Transport Phenomena book has an Easter Egg... The first letter of every paragraph in the Forward spell "On Wisconsin"
