Two years ago, I made the life-changing decision to undergo weight loss surgery, and it’s without a doubt the best choice I’ve ever made for my health. At my heaviest, I was 373 pounds (I’m 5’8”) with a 60-inch waist. After surgery, I reached 165 pounds—surpassing my original goal—and reduced my waist size to 38 inches. Now, I’m around 200 pounds, with much of the weight attributed to loose skin. The surgery has brought incredible benefits to my overall well-being, improving my joint health, alleviating sleep apnea, and helping me manage diabetes. It’s been a truly transformative journey, and I’m profoundly grateful for the positive changes it’s brought to my life.
