I think Trump sees a lot of himself in Sheduer.

Could be. From some of the descriptions of Sheduer people have given - entitled, arrogant, self-important, abilities that do not match his demands, and so on.

Between golf games there is watching Fox and ESPN, scrolling social media or traveling to funerals. There's still a little time to sign nation-wrecking EOs. Not write them of course, just Sharpie scribble and photo op.

Just read an article that explains it well.
He simply doesn't have what it takes to be an NFL starter. How about as a backup? Turns out that the backup is an important position, and most teams have a backup that is a fan fav and fav teammate. What the back up isn't is a shit stirrer. It's common that any time a qb has any problem, 'what about the backup?' is always asked. No team wants a backup that has a PR team in place.

I get the impression he probably could have benefitted from going to a different school. Instead he spent all four years being head coached by his father at two different universities.
