MS-13.

Had all the signs.

She was wearing clothes and had human limbs.

It was the Hello Kitty T-shirt that gave her away. Trump will post a photo on social media shortly with notations scribbled in Sharpie.

Probably running a fentanyl ring at the day care.

The poor mother here. If I were being deported, I'm not sure I could leave a 2 year old behind at a detention center with no idea what would happen to her. She chose to take her daughter with her. Apparently the father was trying to help and get legal aid, but couldn't get the message across to her at the detention center.

There are over 300k missing immigrant children who were separated from their parents during Trump’s first term, or who crossed the border alone and nobody knows where they are now.

At least this child is with Mom.

Is that true? isn't there a database of missing children and parents and you could connect them?

This is worse than the children the Russians took from Ukraine.

Sure, make all the fun you want but it’s still a fact that this two year old will grow up brown and we can’t have that. She would also learn and speak both English and Spanish which is antithetical to the MAGAts.

No, it's not worse than that. It's different.

Children disappear from immigration radar after they enter the US. It doesn't mean they are in danger, though some certainly are, it means our system doesn't track them well. We don't ensure their safety.

I read that they came for the woman and she wanted to bring her child who was born in the US.

The mother did not have that right. When anyone travels abroad with a child either both parents must be with them or the parent not traveling must give written permission. If you are taking a child, for example, a niece or nephew, then both parents must provide written permission. This also applies to land travel to Mexico or Canada.

Here's the rule: https://www.usa.gov/travel-documents-children

But, in this case the kid would really need a passport as a US Citizen. The State Dept. does have a form that would allow a parent to get a passport for a child without permission of the other parent. It's Form DS-5525. But, that's really designed for a US citizen parent getting a passport for a US citizen child with the other parent either not responding or being unavailable. That was obviously not the case in this situation.

Somebody needs to go to jail over this.
