Hopefully this will be very temporary. I’m in Sicily until Friday.
Airport delays should be cleared out by then.

Electrical grids are a classic example of elderly infrastructure being used beyond planned capacity and needing massive improvements.

The last time I was in Lisbon it was normal for the power to go off every day from around 1-3 PM.
