Does anyone (who doesn't have their head in the sand) pay full price for a new Mac these days? Discounted Macs used to be rare, now they're the norm.

Um, I did. I got a fresh M1 when they first came out. Replaced a 10-year-old MBP. I had the money, so I bought it. Please don't rip the stripes off my MRF uniform.
