Optimum modem problems - dk62 - 05-01-2025 For the past month, I have to reboot the Optimum modem at least once a day. They cannot figure what is wrong except that they cannot see the modem at their end once I lose the signal until I reboot it. I have already replaced the modem once, with no effect. It (their modem/router) is connected to their cable on one end and on the other I have my MESH set up as APs on the LAN side, as well as a MoCA adapter. I looked both in and out of the house, it does not seem like there are any loose connections. Any ideas? Re: Optimum modem problems - mattkime - 05-01-2025 This is a wild guess but its probably a line signal problem and they simply need to get better techs to look at it. I will try replacing the MoCA that sits between the modem and the outside line and see if it helps. |
