I'd suggest that we all go over and register for Macrumors in the event of a MRF disaster. You know, all good things come to an end and so it may one day go with MRF, leaving us all disconnected from our friends here. A contingency plan broadcast to all might be a good idea. For the time being, let's have MacRumors forum be the contingency plan.

Reasonable idea. But I'm leaning toward the nuclear option. The outage really made me aware of how addicted I am to the site. Twenty-eight years if you count dealmac--perhaps it is time to cut the cord.
