I don't believe for a second CFDT believes they were railroaded.
These feel more like a) garnering support from MAGAs for whatever reason, and b) a big bully brazen F/U to everyone he hates at the moment.
It's a pity that he won't experience complete disgrace before his life ends.
Of course he has to have the capacity for feeling shame, which he doesn't have.
But he'd be angry at being disgraced and that would be good enough for me.
That won't happen either.
