how do you change the sorting order permanently? - special - 06-27-2025

I noticed that you can sort the threads by the creation date, like it used to be at the old place. but this option does not stick, it seems to revert to the last post when you change forums. Is there a way to make it permanent? I didn't see any option in the control panel.

The only way I have found is to bookmark the forum with this view, and use that to go back to the main page every time.

When you change the sorting option, it changes the URL. Save the new URL as your bookmark.

I tried pinning the page after changing the Sort order, but as one would guess, it doesn't stick.

The bookmark thing does stick, and while a bit less convenient for me, it works.

The ability to make it permanent would be appreciated, but I bet that's not an option.
