Help me build a Windows PC - special - 06-29-2025

Initially I posted this in the wrong forum.

I need a workstation with a Nvidia GPU and some decent RAM.

Say around $2k give or take. I have monitor, KB and Mouse.

how about this?

Last time I build a PC was in 2020 during COVID and it came out great, my son is still gaming on it. 32 GB RAM, 2070, some 8 core AMD and worked great with Windows 10 for about 4 years and recently upgraded it to Windows 11, also working great.

If my Son wasn't gaming on it I could take it for my work, LOL. Or maybe I give him a better gaming PC and I take that one?

At first glance, that parts list kind of looks like overkill. But then I don't know what you need to do with it. For example, do you need 128GB RAM or will 64GB work just as well? Also, do you need a $500 GPU?

I could get by with 64 I guess.

yes, I need a good GPU.
