Is is worth it? Anyone use it on their macbook?

It's worth it. I use mine all the time, especailly now that I'm taking classes that require MS Access. Being able to run Windows at natvie speeds while being able to use your Mac at the same time is great.

Many others here on the forum use Parallels as well.

Parallels vs. Boot Camp - any difference in being able to interact with peripherals? Say, a smartphone or a GPS system that needed a ROM update?

Check out the current issue of MacWorld. There is a pretty comprehensive comparison of the 4 biggest options for running Windows apps on a Mac... includes a matrix of the strengths and weaknesses of each option. Should help with your decision about which best suits you.
